it's friiiiiidayyyyy!!!
i know i really shouldn't be making a big deal of this.
since i've had the entire week off of work and all.
granted, the majority of my week was spent in ridiculous pain and eating nothing but vicodin and popsicles.
stupid tonsils.
seeyabyejerkface.
seeyabyejerkface.
i have some big goals for my weekend though.
goals that i am seriously determined to make happen!!
seriously.
1. spend lots of time with the boyfraaand.
i haven't seen him since last saturday
(due to him working an hour and a half from where i've been staying- my parent's house).
and having no voice to actually talk to him. bummer.
i know this isn't too big of a deal for those of you who do long distance on the reg.
but when you're recovering from surgery and wanting to be held like a baby all day...
it gets kinda rough.
so yeah, i'm excited.
2. sleep more than 4 hours at a time.
holy moly has that taken a toll on me.

yes that was really my alarm every night since last friday.
talk about straight up misery.
3. eat something other than liquids and soft foods.
that may be a long shot... but...

that may be a long shot... but...
trying to see the silver lining here, people!!
4. feel well enough to attend my oldest niece's birthday.
little doll is turning 9 this sunday. 9!!
that's a big milestone!
and i better be there!
5. become a functioning adult and make it to work monday morning.
i never thought i would actually WANT to go to work on a monday.
but i do. so badly.
i'm going to stop being a debbie downer now.
i'm guest posting over at sarah's blog whimsical mumblings today!
you should go check it out.
she's hosting a whole month of posts on being happy.

Yay for you feeling better and getting to see him. Log distance is so not fun, especially during those times you want some cuddling. :) butttt distance makes the heart grow fonder so hang in there lady. Have a good weekend.
ReplyDeleteSo glad that you have this behind you! Here's to a weekend of good food and good fun!

Your comments under your alarm are killing me!!
ReplyDeleteha!
ReplyDeleteoh my...that sounds awful!
but you are handling with a wonderful dose of humor.
lovin your blog by the way ;)
I can't even imagine this. I feel miserable just thinking about it. My boyfriend had to do the same thing a few months ago and it was hell. He lost a lot of weight so many you had at least that going for you haha?
ReplyDeleteHa, I love your alarms! They are awesome! I hear ya on wanting your boyfriend around. My fiance and I are in a long distance relationship (he lives on a different continent right now), but no matter how far away they are, it's hard. I hope you can see him soon!
