cupcakes over the gym (recipe included).

so last night i got home late from work (like an hour and a half late) because of stupid CPR training. 

okay so maybe it's not stupid, and maybe i'll save a life one day... but it totally threw me off my regular after work routine.

i get home, change for the gym, and leave... and somehow end up at the grocery store buying cupcake ingredients instead. 

what the hell?

i'm blaming the late gym attempt, the cold weather, and pinterest.

my supervisor at work made these ballin' cupcakes/muffins/ultimategoodness for my birthday last week and i have been trying to find an excuse to make them ever since.

a cold, fall monday night seemed appropriate.

 and the fact that they only consist of 2 ingredients seemed legit for my current baking skills, which are none.

but seriously though...

you want to make these. they are da' bomb diggityyyy.

what you'll need:

1 box of yellow cake mix.

1 (15oz) can of pumpkin.

 and that's it. seriously.

mix together until you have the ultimate blend of ooey gooey goodness.

make sure you use a blender though. or else your arm may fall off.

mine almost did.

slap em' in some baking cups, in your cupcake pan.

and bake at 350* for 20-25 minutes.

let cool.

add your store bought cream cheese icing.

because you haven't mastered the art of homemade cream cheese icing, of course.

sprinkle with cinnamon (optional)

and then stuff your face.

boom, you're welcome.

by the way, i feel weird posting a recipe on le'blog. i don't feel like it's all that natural for me. 

does this mean domestication is actually making it's why into my life? 

if so... come on in baby.
