i was reminded, once again, just how much love i have coming from all around me. it is so hard to put into words just how blessed i am.

it's homecoming weekend!!! ahhhhh!!!! this is by far one of my most favorite things about fall in the mountains- homecoming at my alma mater. andddd it's the weekend after my birthday? umm... double yikes right there. i absolutely cannot wait to see all of my friends and sorority sisters... let's just hope i don't get into too much trouble. it tends to happen when i pretend i'm a 21 year old again.
two years ago at homecoming i sat on the wrong boy's lap because i was convinced he was my boyfriend. pretty sure i even told everyone that they didn't know my life, or my boyfriend.
it wasn't my boyfriend.
he was in the other chair.
oops. sorry i'm not sorry.

yesterday was the 5th anniversary of your passing. not a day goes by that i don't think of your beautiful face. we still don't know what exactly happened the night of october 3rd/morning of october 4th, and we may never find out. but we will forever celebrate your life and your shining face. my birthday has become so bittersweet because of this anniversary. you remind me every day, and especially this week, to have NO regrets, live every day to the fullest, love as often and as much as you can... and always tell those who mean the most to you just how much you love them. you never know when they will be taken from you.
