hair envy and the goddess tool.

i think i've used just about every hair straightener known to man over the last few years.
some were mine... some were my sorority sisters' (thanks DZ house).
either way, i feel like i have pretty much tried them all.

okay so i felt that way until i started blogging and all i kept seeing were HANA salon this, and HANA salon that.
somehow up until that point i had completely missed the boat on the miracle that was HANA. no, not hana marin from PLL, sillies.
naturally, when i did hear about it... i was completely envious of all of the pretty, straight hair i was seeing as a result.
especially because i have such a lion mane on my head that some refer to as hair.
so when misikko contacted me asking if i would like to do a review on their product. my reaction went a little something like this:

and of course i said yes. duh.

now misikko knows how to hook a girl up with some goodies. and i like goodies.
i mean come on... no party is complete without a bag full of candy and air horns. am i right, or am i right?
not only did i get my amazing hair goddess of a tool. i also received a pretty little case, ELF makeup (which is my favorite), some hand sani (a social worker loves her hand sani), and some other fun little things.

needless to say- their goody bag box already had me sold. with or without the straightener.
ha. who am i kidding? the straightener was of course the best part...

it took my lindsay lohan of blow dried hair...

and turned it into this. which is much more acceptable for public appearances.
did you hear that lindsay lo? acceptable for public appearances.

alright now down to business. what do i love most about the HANA 1" flat iron pro? 
everything.

oh, you want the details? okay, okay...
-the look. it's not loud and obnoxious with it's design.
the pink camo straightener i had in high school was a little bit much for my travel bag.
-the size. hello perfect 1" baby. i sorta kinda love you. you get every last jerry curl hiding behind my ears.
-the settings. not only do you have a number of heat settings to choose from... you also have a guide that comes with your product to tell you exactly which setting to use in order to not fry your hair.
this might be my favorite thing about it to tell you the truth. because when a lot of home girls see 450degrees they're all like  
"hell yeah- let's straighten this biznitch right up!"
and then bad things happen.

let's just say that in a nutshell, i'm a fan. and you should be too.
