bachelorette and cinderella weekend.

boy howdy, ya'll. i really need to stop doing so much on the weekends. it's starting to take a toll on my getting out of bed ability on monday mornings.

friday M and i double dated it up with our lovely little friends shawn and steph.
we tried out a new place (to us) in the next town over, called Sid's on Main. which actually used to be an old inn that they have renovated. the food, service, and overall atmosphere were amaaaazing. we might have found a new favorite place... i mean, check out those fish tacos i had.

saturday i ventured over to asheville for my friend anna's bachelorette party.
we stayed at the grove park inn, which by the way, is the most amazing play i have ever laid my head down at.
talk about catering to your every need at this place... and drop dead gorgeous at that.

the usual was done...
i feel like someone should have a bach party every weekend just for the sheer fact that it's an excuse to get a big group of girls together and pamper ourselves. just a thought.

 

sunday i had promised my oldest niece lexi that i would come watch her play.
she is a part of the overlook theater company in my hometown and they put on some of the best shows i have ever seen.
my middle school plays don't even compare, ya'll, not. even. close.
this summer they chose to do Cinderella and it was so so so good. mainly because that was one of my most favorite princess stories growing up (and still is).

and of course after the show i got my fair share of niece snuggles from the 4 of them.
i can't go home and not spend every second loving on their cute little faces!

and now i'm back to being exhausted on a monday.
at least we have the 4th to look forward to on thursday, whoop whoop!!
