GUEST POST // when blondes become besties

hey y'all!

i'm jennifer and i blog over at sweet southern wife.

julia asked me to do a guest post for her while she was on vacay, and of course i couldn't say no.

so, a little bit about me:
i've been married to my wonderful husband for almost 2 years.  we live in western north carolina and we have two adorable furbabies.

some of you may not know this but julia is my real life bestie.

we grew up in our small little nc town, and we've done just about everything together.

we met when we were in middle school.  she was a couple years younger than me, but we still became very close.  we then spent our high school years cheering together, and then moved on to the same college and became sorority sisters.

she was with me when i met my husband, and then she was beside me when i became his wife :)
so yeah we've been through it all!

see julia and i have alot in common, but one of the biggest things we have in common is the fact that we both blondes.
we've had many blonde moments, way too many to count.
there was the time we thought that marco polo invented the swimming pool, and the time we forgot nevada was a state...
julia even attempted to talk to a frog one night on our back porch.  yeah don't ask.
one of our blondest moments though was when we got so excited because we saw a shooting star, but then we were disappointed because we realized it was actually a lighting bug.
fail.

so if you ever hang out with us, be prepared to laugh.  alot!

well guys, sorry to keep it kinda short, but i gotta get back to work.

it's been a busy week :-/
